Welcome to a new era for Grzyboski’s Train Store. Our move is complete and we are finally at home in our new location. In our new surroundings we will continue to offer honest, dependable service, a pleasant demeanor and a family based atmosphere. This we enhance with quality products and a growing knowledge of the ever-changing technology in modern era trains.
Owner, Joseph A. Grzyboski, Jr., along with his wife Theresa, founded Grzyboski’s Trains in 1977 which stemmed from his long time love of Lionel toy trains. The year 2007 marked our 30th Anniversary year of selling Lionel Trains. We continue to take pride in being one of Lionel’s Top 10 Dealers. Lionel produced a Commemorative Limited Edition Boxcar to mark this milestone in our business career.
As always, when you contact Grzyboski’s Train Store you will be dealing with a member of the Grzyboski family. Joe III, with 20 plus years of experience, continues to head up the running of the business with his father and is the Operational Manager behind our website. Jeremy has taken leadership in our Shipping Department and is fundamental in expanding our internet business. Theresa tries to ‘make the difference’ as the female voice on the phones while Daughter Christina and Daughter-in-law Karen offer their assistance when ever needed. Brother Rich continues to offer knowledge and assistance in sales. Grandson Jordan and Granddaughter Lindsay are familiar faces to our customers and are surely the third generation to ride the rails at Grzyboski’s Train Store.
Many of you have already visited us at our new location in Moosic, Pennsylvania. We are enjoying the excitement and appreciate the complementary remarks and good wishes extended to us from our dedicated customers. Our new store is located at the intersection of Route 502 and Glenmaura National Boulevard in Moosic (approximately 5 miles from our previous location). Our new building is styled after an old fashion train station with a modern warehouse facility attached. (Our contractor ScotchBuilt, Inc. won the 2007 Master Builder Award for the construction of our building). Our new building affords plenty of free parking and a large inventory of Lionel, K-line by Lionel, MTH and other train related pieces to satisfy the desires of the train enthusiasts. Items are uniquely displayed for your shopping pleasure. We had our “Grand Opening Celebration” in May of 2008. As attested by those who attended, the Grand Opening was a great success. Lionel demonstrated their new Legacy System while our local friends, the “Anthracite Hi-Railers” displayed a very impressive module layout.
