CONDITION: LIKE-NEW TEST RUN
From the dawn of the 20th Century, with the use of wooden open-platformed cars, to the mid-1950's, when all had been converted to steel, the new material of choice, railroads used Multiple Unit (MU's) cars to transport commuter traffic back and forth between work and home. Running as many as six cars together, these electric chariots moved thousands of people daily.
Offered for the first time with TrainMaster Command Control, these two sets will go down as Lionel's best Commuter Cars ever. Bedecked in the appealing colorful paint schemes of the New Haven and Reading railroads, these sets will be a welcome sight to any layout - big or small.
